Over the years I have worn many hats that suited the many transitions life has offered. Environmental activist, business graduate, administrator, event planner, social entrepreneur, community builder, mother, gardener and food security advocate among them. But before any of these things I loved to write and it’s a passion I’ve lost touch with over the years, recently rekindled like the warm sun that brings forth spring.

You can find them as “photo cases” on Amazon or at some Michael’s locations.
What I aspire towards with the Garden Mama Growing blog is to blend these facets of experience and skills in a way that I am sharing the joy and excitement I feel every time I learn about or participate in something that gets hands in the dirt and growing food. These blog posts will also become highlighted content on my monthly newsletter along with more timely information like upcoming events both virtually and in person within the Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands region, employment opportunities, grant deadlines, and whatever other awesome leads I can bring to your inbox for a regular dose of inspiration to be a part of a food growing movement beyond our own backyard gardens.
If you haven’t signed up for the newsletter yet, you can right here for the launch on February 2nd!
